SecondWind Coaching respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information we may collect
When you contact us, you may choose to provide your name, email address, phone number, and information about what you would like to discuss. Please avoid including medical records, financial information, or other highly sensitive information in an initial inquiry.
How we use information
We use personal information only for reasonable purposes connected with your inquiry or coaching relationship, including to:
- respond to questions and arrange an introductory conversation;
- provide and administer coaching services you request;
- maintain appropriate business and communication records; and
- meet legal, regulatory, accounting, or safety obligations.
Consent and limiting collection
We seek meaningful consent where required and limit collection to information reasonably necessary for the identified purpose. You may withdraw consent to optional uses, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
Service providers and disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We use Formspree to process conversation-form submissions and may use other service providers for email, scheduling, website hosting, payment processing, or business administration. They receive only the information needed to perform their services and may process information outside your province or Canada, where different laws may apply. We may also disclose information when required by law or where necessary to address an urgent safety concern.
Website preferences and cookies
This prototype stores design preferences—such as the selected hero image, wind mark, and typography settings—in your browser’s local storage. These preferences remain on your device and can be cleared through your browser settings. The current website does not intentionally use advertising cookies or behavioural tracking.
Retention and safeguards
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected and for applicable legal or business requirements. We use safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, but no email or online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Access, correction, and questions
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, or raise a privacy concern. Some exceptions may apply under applicable law.
